The board is cut from plate aluminum with a laser and then machined to produce light catching facets that contrast with the flat lustre of the screen printed playing surface. Two large bearings allow the two halves of the board to rotate against each other. The custom pieces are turned from solid aluminum bar stock and are anodized and felted. The photo above shows the game conveniently set up to play on it's optional custom carrying case, which is machined from MDF and shot with a textured rubber coating that gives it a 'wet', almost organic look!
