The Global Chess discs are geared together on slick races of "Lazy Susan" bearings. When it is a players turn to move, the discs can be rotated to easily examine the
paths of the pieces moving from one hemisphere to the next where the discs meet. Rotating the discs does not affect the game or
the relationship of the pieces to one another across the two hemispheres.
